Snow, snowing, snowed. It’s still winter up here.

This homey little airport in Arvidsjaur, Sweden was made entirely of wood, with the tower hardly double the height of the two planes (one being ours) parked there. Everywhere I looked all I could see were pine trees and snow. A lot of snow. The runway was cleared just enough to allow planes to take off and land, and snow was piled up on either side.
With a longer turnaround time than we needed, I spent the couple of free minutes in between flights sunbathing, breathing in some quality fresh Scandinavian oxygen and reading some ‘quality’ fashion magazines.
The shining sun goes a long way in winter.
